Glitter Boutique...

I'm constantly asked by women, "What type of boutique is Glitter?" It took me a while to come up with an answer other than a women's apparel & accessory boutique. I really had to take a moment to think of other ways to describe Glitter and to give it a description that people who had never been could envision and in turn want to visit. So now when asked what type boutique Glitter is, I gladly state that Glitter is a unique, and quaint women's apparel boutique specifically geared toward women who love a boho chic style mixed with playful and comfy pieces that can be worn throughout the changing trends. Ha! Trends will come and go {neon...Yikes!}, but the items you purchase at Glitter will always be in style ;)

Coachella looks...

Hey there! Happy Friday! The weather in Southern Cali is looking and feeling quite perfecto & lots of indie music lovers are heading to the Coachella Valley Festival this weekend to enjoy the sun & the scene. I've never been to coachella, but I can imagine what goes on....& I'm fairly sure it's very reminiscent of Woodstock.....you know what I'm talking about {wink wink}. Anyhow, the fashion is always fab & very bohemian-like which is my absolute favorite style of dress! So below are a few looks boho-chic looks from Glitter Boutique that I think are so very appropriate for the festival.

1 Year Anniversary Celebration...

What an amazing time we had at the 1 Year Anniversary Celebration of Glitter! I can't even put into words how blessed I feel that people adore the shop & were gracious enough to carve out time from their Friday evening to come and hang out with us.

I'd like to send a special thanks to Natalie Ebaugh of Natalie Ebaugh Photography for the beautiful pictures she snapped. It was my first time meeting her and she just blended right in with the Glitter Gal family :). Also, a huge thanks to Culinary Bliss Catering for the delicious bite size sandwiches. They were so beautifully plated & tasty as well. I loved all of the fancy flavors like Fig & Prosciutto, Egg & Avocado, Buffalo Chicken, & Roasted Vegetables with Olive Tapenade....Hello! And last but certainly not least a big thanks to the Shawl Dawls who came out and blessed us with their beautiful shawls and ponchos. Our Glitter Gals loved them and we can't wait to choose our new stock for the shop.

Signs of spring...

There are so many beautiful signs of spring all around. I especially love that it's a bit warmer during the day (enough to wear Maxi Dresses), and have a day at the beach, but still cool enough at night to wear a scarf while out, or snuggle with hot cocoa.

News, news, & more news....

Well hello Glittery folks! I'm stopping in to give you all LOTS of info crammed into one happily written post....hehehe. I miss blogging so much, but my time has been stretched so thin since Glitter has gone through a bit of restructuring.

Anyhoo, I wanted to drop in and let you guys know about all of the FABULOUS-ness that has been going on, will be going on, and hopefully will be happening at GLB.

The most important news is that we are officially 1 year old! Woo Hoo! And yes, we will be having a celebration complete with champagne, culinary delights, photos, freebies & of course shopping! You can rsvp HERE. Bring as many Glitter Gals as you possibly can. We love them all!

Next, we are looking for an intern! Yep, again! Lol! Please pass the info along, or if you are qualified please send in your resume. You'll be working in a fun, busy, & great environment. :)

Last, I have met sooooo many lovely women over the past few months and if you are reading, I'd just like to say thanks for supporting, hanging in the shop and talking for longer than you anticipated, and for spreading the word about Glitter. You are so appreciated!

Worst blogger award goes to.....

ME!!! Lol! I swear, you guys must think I'm the worst blog updater in town. I want to do better, I've vowed to do better, and then LIFE gets in the way. Well I'm not going to make any promises I can't keep, but I do want to say thanks for your continued support. But on the bright side of things...I update the Glitter Facebook page and Instagram almost every day, two to three times per day. So follow along there where I post everything from personal, store, inspirational, and fashion pictures.
